Jesus knew that appearances are deceiving. He wanted us to know that despite all seeming evidence to the contrary, life is lived from the inside out, not the other way around. That means our intentions are critical; in fact, they are what ultimately determine the quality of our lives. Notice your intentions today and be honest with yourself: Are your actions genuine or “for show”?
