The Little Storm Clouds
WHY are you fixed upon the little storm clouds?
For that is what they are… The Great Deception, the False Light, the False Prophets… storm clouds, which to the human eye, appear enormous. So it is with your personal trials as well. They seem to be obscuring the Son… but are they really?
Place a storm cloud next to the sun. Which is bigger? Which will stand in the presence of the other?
It is true that when these storm clouds come, things get a little—and sometimes a lot—darker. The air feels cooler, while shadows and shades vanish into a depressed landscape. That's why we need spiritual eyes. The Christian must always look beyond what seems, to what is, what appears to be in control, and Who is in control. When the child of God loses hope and begins to despair—that, my friend, is the true storm cloud, obscuring Love, and darkening our souls with the most miserable of thoughts and doubts.
Rise above the clouds with your faith, and you will see that the Son is burning as bright as ever; He has not moved an inch.
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world… the victory that conquers the world is our faith. (1 Jn 4:4, 5:4)
