The Roman Missal & The Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Last Tuesday (1/29/08) I was reading Fr. Z's Blog where he reviewed these holy books from Baronius Press. : the small blue volume of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Bible with the Douay-Reims version, and their highly touted daily hand missal for Holy Mass with the 1962 Missale Romanum.
Last Tuesday (1/29/08) I was reading Fr. I always wanted to pray the Little Office in honor of Our Lady and I needed a new Missal, so I ordered them over the Internet that same day. I received the books Saturday via USPS! Great service, great books!
So now I've started praying the Little Office along with my regular Liturgy of the Hours; so far I'm really enjoying these prayers as they keep me focused on Our Lady, whom I am totally consecrated to! It also fills in some of my spare time and keeps me from being bored in this life of hermitage that I am living. My only friends are Jesus & Mary, and all the Angels & Saints; and all of you out there in Internet land! Be assured of my prayers for you all!
