After all the years of ministering, Father
Sam sacrificed his own health for the needs of others. His bishop
asked us to help Father Sam with a serious and potentially
life-threatening dental emergency. Because of Father’s advanced age and
ill health he can no longer work in a parish or even minister anymore
as a supply priest.
A specialist quoted Father Sam a price of
over $7,000 to repair the years of damage caused by neglect in his teeth
and gums. If not repaired, he will die from the infections of tooth
and gum disease.
Miraculously, after painstaking research
in our network, we found one of our Partners in Mission, Father Doug,
who was able to contact a surgeon he knew near Father Sam. Father
Doug’s friend will perform all the work necessary for half the cost, but
Father Steve needs your help in paying for the dental work that he so
badly needs.
The total cost of the emergency dental procedures to be performed on Father Sam is $3,227.20.
Father Sam is in so much pain in his mouth
he can hardly stand to eat or talk. Out of love for the Catholic
priesthood, would you please consider making a tax-deductible donation
