Archbishop Angelo Amato, prefect of the Congregation for the Cause of Saints will beatify Chiara Luce Badano, a young Italian teen who was a member of the Catholic lay Focolare movement -- and you are invited to watch this and more on EWTN! The beatification ceremony will air at 10 a.m. ET, Sat., Sept. 25 from the Shrine of Our Lady of Divine Love in Rome. The following morning, consider taping the evening celebration by youth, “Chiara Luce Badano: Life Love Light,” which will air at 4 a.m. ET, Sun., Sept. 26. This program will take place at Paul VI Hall in Vatican City.
The beatification is sure to bring attention not only to this young girl, who died only 20 years ago, but to the Focolare movement of which she was a part.
