Our Lady of SorrowsDear Family of Mary!On this day we console and commune with our Mother Mary as she stands beneath the Cross of her Son. She is the model for us of perfect surrender to the will of God. She can teach us how to accept our own suffering and how to trust the Father in the midst of it all. Let us pray this litany and meditate on Our Lady's Sorrowful but Trustful Heart!
Litany of the Seven Sorrows

God the Father of Heaven, Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, Have mercy on us.

Holy Virgin of virgins, Pray for us.
Mother crucified, Pray for us.

Joy of all Saints, Pray for us.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Spare us, O Lord.

Look down upon us, deliver us, and save us from all trouble, in the power of Jesus Christ. Amen.
