As you may have read, starting on Sunday, October 3rd, Father Robert Barron will begin airing his first-ever, national weekly TV show.
Word On Fire with Father Barron will be broadcast at 8:30 AM Central time on WGN America (***please note 9:30 AM in Chicago on WGN Channel 9).
You can check your local listings with this handy channel guide from WGN America.
Father Barron will become the first priest since Archbishop Fulton Sheen in the 1950’s to have a regular, national program on a commercial television network.
“Now is the time to reach out to Catholics and others who are searching for meaning in their lives or who have left the Church because they are disillusioned,” says Father Barron.
“In each episode, our mission will be to encourage believers and bring the transformative power of the Gospel to the culture.”
