O Wisdom, you came forth from the mouth of the Most High, and reached from end to end, and disposed of all things sweetly and mightily: come and teach us the way of prudence. (traditional "O" Antiphon)

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! I desire to place all of you under my mantle and protect you from all satanic attacks. Today is a day of peace, but in the whole world there is a great lack of peace. That is why I call you all to build a new world of peace with me through prayer. This I cannot do without you, and this is why I call all of you with my motherly love and God will do the rest. So, open yourselves to God's plan and to His designs to be able to cooperate with Him for peace and for everything that is good. Do not forget that your life does not belong to you, but is a gift with which you must bring joy to others and lead them to eternal life. May the tenderness of the little Jesus always accompany you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (December 25, 1992)

Day 2 of our Christmas novena. This message from 1992...what can I say! Our Lady was speaking to us in the midst of the Balkan war. Everything she says in this message takes on deep significance when we realize the violence that surrounded Medjugorje at the time. Our Lady spoke of peace, of a new world, of building, even as Bosnia and the surrounding countries were being devastated by war. She never stopped fighting for peace, and she never will. Medjugorje itself was never touched by the violence, and became a refuge for many people dislocated by the war.

Mother Mary brings peace. And so today we implore her to continue to lead us in that direction, towards Jesus.

Christmas Novena Prayer:

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary at midnight in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of my Savior, Jesus Christ and of his blessed Mother. Amen

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
