New Vatican Secretary of State Named Today the speculations turned out to be true. Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Pietro Parolin, 58, to be his Vatican Secretary of State, making Parolin the #2 man in the Vatican after the Pope himself. The appointment, announced this morning in Rome, will take effect on October 15

Forsake Me Not When My Strength Is Spent
