Our Lady always triumphs over disasters

The
following events took place at the El Goloso military base near Madrid
(Spain), the armored infantry "Guadarrama" brigade’s headquarters.
According to InfoVaticana and ReligiĆ³n in Libertad, an
impossible-to-control fire broke out, burning most of the surrounding
vegetation.
But once the flames
were extinguished, the soldiers were surprised to find a statue of Our
Lady of Lourdes standing upright in the middle of the charred area,
totally undamaged. The surprise was even greater when they saw that the
grass near the statue had not been touched by the flames and still had
vases filled with flowers, also intact, as if the flames had respected
the space around the statue as well.
The fire broke out
on July 30th. The subsequent investigation left no doubt: one can easily
see that all the land was burnt, except near the statue.
This fact indicates
that Our Lady—especially if she is invoked under the name of Our Lady of
Lourdes—always faces possible disasters fearlessly and comes out of
them intact. And those who have a strong Marian devotion will be
recognized amid the tragedy as Heaven’s beloved children.
