Meditation:
In the Three Days Loss, Our Lady won many graces for sinners. By it she suffered much for those who lose Jesus through sin. The source of her joy is her union with God's Will at all times despite the outward manifestation of His Will.
"Our joy will be in the recognition that the work of the Holy Spirit is succeeding. Bound up with this is the realization that we are being used by Him to further His works." Woollen (23)
Resolution:
Our Lady's Joy stems from her intercessory prayer and sacrifice and from the fulfillment of her desire to see

In order to imitate Our Lady today, I will renew the morning offering of my day to God. When I see her image, I will pause to place my day in her hands. I will remember that prayer and sacrifice make a difference in the world and that the simple work of my day, done well and offered to God can be used by God as intercessory prayer. True joy can be derived by living for others and not for oneself.
