Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! Today again I would like to say to you that I am with you also in these troubled days during which Satan wishes to destroy all that my Son Jesus and I are building. He desires especially to destroy your souls. He wants to take you away as far as possible from the Christian life and from the commandments that the Church calls you to live. Satan wishes to destroy everything that is holy in you and around you. This is why, little children, pray, pray, pray to be able to grasp all that God is giving you through my coming. Thank you for having responded to my call." (September 25, 1992)

Our Lady has warned us many times about Satan and his plans.  He is God's adversary.  Jesus told a parable found in Luke 19, about a nobleman who went to a far country to receive the kingship, and left his servants with money to invest.  There were men in this nobleman's land who didn't want him to be king.  When he returned as their king, he told his faithful servants, "But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them before me." (Lk 19:27)  Pretty rough treatment for the dissenters!

I was journaling with the Lord about this passage and want to share what I wrote, because it seems to fit with Our Lady's caution about the enemy.

I wrote: "So our enemies are Your enemies, Father?"
He seemed to reply: "Yes.
First they were my enemies and because of Me they hate you, because you are made in my image."
"Oh, yes, so they hate us because we remind them of You?"
"Well, because they know that I love you and have destined you for union with Me."
"Why do they hate so much?"
"They have sworn
not to serve.  They want only to be served, so they hate being like me, because I serve.  They want to reign."
"Our dear Jesus said, 'The Son of Man has come to serve, not to be served.'"
"Yes, He came to show you the way to be just like Me.
  We serve."
"Well then, there is a lesson here.
If I want to reign, I am listening to the wrong voice."
"Oh yes!
My enemy uses a cunning disguise. He says to you, 'You deserve to do things your way. You are independent.  You don't have to listen to anyone. Don't serve that person, take care of yourself.'  This is the voice of evil.  Instead, listen to Jesus who says, "The Son of Man has come to serve, not to be served.  The least among you is the greatest.  When you come to the feast take the lowest place.'  This is the voice that leads to joy!"
"How can I slay Your enemies before You in my life?"
"Bring them before me, expose them to Me, reveal those voices of evil and renounce them.
Cast them out, in Jesus' name.  Cast them out of your heart, your mind, your soul, your will. Learn to discern them and expose them to Me."
"Yes Lord, I want to be like You."
"Good. Let your Mother teach you true humility, true love, true service!"

Very interesting!  To be like the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit is to serve!  I never thought of that, but it is true.  They never stop serving us!  They create us, sustain us, redeem us, lead us, teach us, provide for us, comfort us, listen to us, love us up!!  To be like God is to love!

Our Lady is coming to foil the enemy in these days and bring us all back to the Father, through Jesus!  Let's cooperate with her and accept the loving reign of Jesus in our lives, which means to let Him serve us!

PS.  This photo was take in August of this year in Medjugorje when we were climbing Cross Mountain.  This young boy is disabled and was having a very hard time climbing with his family.  These two young men appeared and just swooped him up and carried him. You can see the joy on the boy's face!  It was beautiful!
