Novena to Our Lady, Queen of Peace, Day 8
Dear Family of Mary!
Last night, Our Lady appeared on Apparition Hill to Ivan Dragicevic. Ivan had gathered with his prayer group, and several thousand pilgrims, to pray and greet Our Lady. Ivan gave the following description of her visit with him. I think it is the perfect meditation for today's novena prayer. Ivan shared:
I desire to bring to you what was important in tonight's meeting with Our Lady. It is very, very difficult to express everything in words. But I will try to share with you what is most important.
Also tonight Our Lady came to us, joyful and happy. At the beginning she greeted all of us with her Motherly greeting, "Praised be Jesus, my dear children." After that, she extended her hands over us here and she prayed for a longer time over all of us. In a special way she prayed over those of you who are sick here. And after that Our Lady said:
Dear children. Today, in a special way, I desire to call you through this time of grace that is upcoming: Respond to my messages and begin to live my messages. All of these years that I have been with you, my Son has permitted me to remain and to respond to you, because I desired to speak to you, I desired to lead you to Him. That is why, firmly decide. Live that that I have given you so that I will be able to give to you other messages and lead you towards holiness. That is why, may today your decision be "yes" to live. The Mother prays for all of you and always intercedes before her Son for everyone. Thank you, dear children also today for having responded to my call.
After that Our Lady blessed all of us with her Motherly Blessing, and she blessed all you brought for blessing. I recommended also all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families, all that you carry in your hearts. And Our Lady blessed as well your hearts.
After that Our Lady continued for a while to pray over all of us, and left in the illuminated Sign of the Cross with the greeting, "Go in peace, my dear children."
This would be what is most important from tonight's meeting with you. Thank you.
We are looking with gratitude back upon 33 years of Our Lady's presence. But she is looking ahead!! "Today, in a special way, I desire to call you through this time of grace that is upcoming..." Our Lady sees ahead of us a time of grace! And she also added, "Live that that I have given you so that I will be able to give to you other messages and lead you towards holiness." She desires to give us more messages. She is not leaving us unfinished! She wants to lead us to holiness!! This is such good news!
Let us pray:
Prayer to the Queen of Peace
Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, Queen of Peace!
You came to us to lead us to God.
Obtain for us the grace
not only to say:
"Be it done to me according to Your word!",
but to live it, as You did.
Into Your hands we put our hands,
so that You may lead us to Him
amidst these afflictions and woes.
Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Creed, 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys, 7 Glory Bes....
Veni Creator Spiritus - Come Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, Creator, come
best gift of God above,
the living spring, the living fire,
sweet unction and true love.
Thou Who are called the Paraclete,
from Thy bright heavenly throne,
come, take possession of our souls,
and make them all Thine own.
Thou who are sevenfold in Thy grace,
finger of God's right hand,

- Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created.
- And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray: God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant that by that same Spirit we may be always truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Let us pray the Rosary!!
