“Beginning Our Lady’s apparitions any later
than 1981, would not have resulted in the same foundation that was set
in the beginning years in changing the direction of the world. When
told in the 1980s of Our Lady’s apparitions, people were astounded.
Today when people are told of Our Lady’s apparitions a typical response
is: “Really? Hey, American Idol is on tonight.” For many, it is just
part of the conversation. For the few who may be astounded today by the
news of hearing of Our Lady’s apparitions, it is usually because they
have begun to search for meaning in their lives and they are ready for
the graces. However, for a large portion of the world’s population,
their hearts are deaf to learning about what Our Lady is doing. God,
everyday, is doing something incredibly profound, yet it goes unnoticed
to the vast majority of the world. God is going to do something in the
future to change this.”

Our Lady of Medjugorje said on September 25, 2003:
The visionary Ivan spoke of Our Lady’s desire for us:
“Our Lady invites us to wake up from our
spiritual coma which leads us to spiritual death. She wants to
strengthen us in our faith through prayer. She wants to lift us from
this sinful world. She worries about our salvation.”
The Caritas Pilgrimage group climbed Cross Mountain
this morning, June 21, 2014 at 4:00 a.m. A huge storm came through the
village yesterday and brought some cool weather. The climb up to the
Cross this morning was beautifully cool, quiet, peaceful and prayerful.
It was a beautiful time of reflection and contemplation of the agony,
death and Resurrection of Our Lord. It is also a time of preparation
for the 33rd anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions here in Medjugorje.
Tonight, Our Lady will be appearing during Ivan's prayer group on Apparition Mountain at 9:00 PM Medjugorje time. (See here for your local time). What will you be doing at 9:00 PM Medjugorje Time? In these next few days before the 33rd anniversary feast of June 25, each should evaluate whether one is listening to Our Lady, or whether one has allowed the world to drown out Her voice. This afternoon, be on your knees and in prayer for Our Lady's apparition during Ivan's prayer group. Disconnect from the world, from the TV, from your cell phone, from all the modernism that distracts from connecting to God. Be in prayer in these days and especially during the moment of apparition.
