It has been beautiful days in Medjugorje, celebrating the feast of All Saints and the Holy Souls. Blue skies, sunny days, and mild temperatures during the day have kept pilgrims on the mountains and walking through the vineyards to soak up the grace of Our Lady’s presence. November typically brings to end the pilgrimage season each year for many people in the village and those who bring groups from around the world, though Medjugorje is never without pilgrims all together. For the villagers it’s a time of rest and a time for family as many of the shops and pansions close for the winter months in Medjugorje, bringing a slower pace of life. However, Mirjana’s apparitions continue to be heavily attended, even in the colder months and today was no different.
A great many buses rolled into Medjugorje just two days ago bringing thousands of pilgrims who desired to be in Our Lady’s presence on the second of the month, as well as many Croatians who visit Medjugorje each year for the Feast of All Saints and All Souls. Though the temperatures during the day have continued to be pleasant, recently the mornings and evenings have turned very chilly. Yet, the cold did not stop some pilgrims from keeping their prayer vigil by the Blue Cross all night long. All through the night pilgrims arrived finding a rock to sit upon or a tree or rock wall to lean against. Discomforts seemed not to hinder anyone, as the willing spirits of those gathered, motivated by their love for Our Lady, were stronger than the temptations of the flesh. The stars, of which Our Lady mentioned in Her September 25, 2014 message, shown brightly against the night sky lighting the way for those who walked to the Blue Cross before the dawn’s light began to slowly rise.
Also, just before dawn, joyous singing and the prayer of the Rosary could then be heard over the loud speakers as individual groups praying quietly through the night, now joined all together in prayer and singing leading up to the time of Mirjana’s apparition around 8:30 a.m. Mirjana arrived just as the sun broke from behind Apparition Mountain, flooding the area around the Blue Cross with light and warmth. Our Lady’s arrival, soon afterwards, did the same for the hearts and souls of all those gathered to be near to Her this early November morning.Following is Our Lady’s message of November 2, 2014, given on the day of prayer for non-believers:

Yet, many do not want to see. Yet still, being watchful, we ‘can’ see what is happening and the signs around us. But in what context do we understand these signs? The context we view them is to be through the template of Our Lady’s messages. In other words, Our Lady’s messages are a Biblical worldview, giving the context we should view the ‘happenings.’ Our Lady did not say, look away from what is happening, but to “look [at] what is happening all around you.” That means everything from infectious diseases and pestilence to your work, government/politics, wars, the economy – everything. Our Lady’s messages are for everything happening in the world and how to look at it. With fear? In no way are we to be afraid. It is Our Lady who has said:

Some may think applying Our Lady’s messages to everything in life and the world as an error. Some think Our Lady’s messages must be only about prayer, etc., not infectious diseases, government, laws, etc. This is a result of a limited capacity thinking, and a minimizing of Our Lady’s messages, constricting them to only your knowledge instead of being open to being illuminated. A mentality, as such, has not the capacity to be open to understanding how broad and all encompassing Our Lady’s messages are. They are to change the world. The way we interpret the messages is the way we will course the world’s future, changing its direction. Our Lady said:

Why did Our Lady say this? Because through the messages, the directives are given to change the direction of the world. Her words encompass everything to change the world. Our Lady’s words, “change the direction of your life,” is how the world will change. Your life, what goes on around your “goings and comings” throughout your day is your world.
When one fasts, Our Lady tells us, one will not be afraid of evil and when one prays, one is not afraid of the future. Those who do not fast, do not pray, show they have no desire to understand or accept with seriousness what Our Lady is saying. Understanding Our Lady’s messages and Her plans come through increasing your capacity to be filled with a greater understanding of them. Our Lady said:

That understanding, that comprehension, is achieved, is increased every time you increase your capacity. Prayer helps you not to be afraid of the future and fasting helps you not to be in fear of evil. That being the case, it also increases your capacity to grasp Our Lady’s plans and messages to a greater degree; your capacity to grasp more of what Our Lady’s words mean, and how to transform them into life. Every time you pray and fast, you expand your capacity for God to give you more, for Our Lady to teach you the next lesson. Our Lady wants to explain many things to us, but many have not the capacity to understand Her words, much less hear them. As Our Lady said, “…many people who do not desire to understand my messages and to accept with seriousness what I am saying…” Are you one of them? Are you “partially” one of them? You can change immediately.
Simply put, when you pray and fast, your capacity is increased to see, understand and comprehend what you did not before. Prayer and fasting will increase your capacities to not be afraid of identifying evil and fighting it when it is being perpetrated upon you or strengthen you from being afraid to hear what the enemies of Christianity are planning for the future. It is not being political. It is not an agenda. It is peering into the core of what and the why’s of “… all of this that is around you, all that is happening…” for the purpose to see what course to take today to alter our future course. Now reread slowly and prayerfully today’s November 2, 2014 message and see if your capacity increased giving you greater understanding in the second read, simply by the spiritual exercise of reading this letter to you.

Mirjana’s eyes become radiant at her first glimpse of Our Lady. An unearthly joy permeates her whole being as the first words of Our Lady’s greeting reaches her ears, such that Mirjana’s face becomes in a way transfigured, reflecting the light of Our Lady, making the invisible visible for those who see Mirjana.
Medjugorje visionary, Jakov was asked at the beginning of the apparitions if Our Lady’s body appears as “light” or as a real body. Jakov replied:
“The Blessed Mother has a real body. It is three dimensional, but there is nothing about the Blessed Virgin Mary that is like anything I’ve ever seen before – Her radiance, Her greeting, Her smile, Her immense beauty.” 1
Our Lady comes, today, on the Feast of All Souls, and speaks of Her life, identifying with Her apostles, as a person living in Heaven, while remembering Her life on earth to encourage Her apostles.
A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in February 2012:
“What do you think of this moment of time in which we live? How often do you stop, really stop and “think,” really think about this? It is the plan of Our Lady to raise up apostles…”
Our Lady said today,
Our Lady comes to open Scripture beyond what could be contained in words, as John, who was given to Her by Jesus, representing all Her children, wrote:
“There are also many things that Jesus [said and] did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.”
John 21:25
Our Lady of Medjugorje comes as the Woman of Revelation to reveal these “many things” that Jesus said and did. She, the Mother of the Messiah, comes to reveal what He revealed to Her – anew - a new revelation about old revelation. Jesus, the Messiah, promised Peter that,
“the gates of the netherworld (hell) shall not prevail against it (the Church)”

Our Lady, the Mother of the Messiah, reveals today:
Eighteen years ago, A Friend of Medjugorje wrote about the means to gain souls of non-believers, quoting Our Lady.
Our Lady said to St. Dominic:
“…many priests preach thunderously against the worst kind of sin. They fail, because a sick person [non-believer] cannot be givenbitter medicine until he’s prepared by being in the right frame of mind to benefit from it. Priests must first enkindle a love of prayer, especially the love of my Rosary…When priests give a sermon, urge people to pray my Rosary and your words will bear much fruit for souls.”
