Dear Family of Mary!

Dear Children, I am coming to you as a mother and I desire that in me, as in a mother, you may find your abode, consolation and rest. Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, pray. Pray with humble devotion, obedience and complete trust in the Heavenly Father. Trust as I have trusted when it was said to me that I will bring the blessing of the promise. May out of your hearts, from your lips, always come forth: 'May Your will be done!' Therefore, trust and pray so that I can intercede for you before the Lord, for Him to give you the heavenly blessing and fill you with the Holy Spirit. Then you will be able to help all those who do not know the Lord - you, apostles of my love, will help them to call Him 'Father' with complete trust. Pray for your shepherds and place your trust in their blessed hands. Thank you. (March 2, 2014)

The centerpiece of this message is the Annunciation. Our Lady is calling us to reflect on that moment of immeasurable grace, when she was asked to be the Mother of the Redeemer, the one who would "bring the blessing of the Promise" to all mankind. It is not an accident that the Feast of the Annunciation approaches! The graces of this feast are waiting for us!

Our Lady describes her own relationship with God in this message. She prayed "with humble devotion, obedience and complete trust in the Heavenly Father." From her earliest childhood Mary was devoted to God, so much so that she went to serve in the Temple as a little girl. Our Lady was also totally obedient, ready to respond to any call from the Lord, as we can imagine. And she trusted in the Heavenly Father so much that she could place herself in danger of social disgrace, by accepting her Divine Motherhood without a husband. Her trust in God was complete.

This relationship of humble devotion, obedience and complete trust was the foundation from which she could receive the Angel Gabriel. When the offer to become the Mother of Jesus had been made, and Mary had thought it through, out of her heart, from her lips, came forth "May it be done to me according to your will." Amazingly, now she is asking us to be ready to say the very same thing to God in the invitations He makes to us in our lives. She is asking us to imitate her, to learn from her how to be completely given over to the Lord.

She finally tells us that if we trust and pray, then she will intercede for us to the Lord, so that He can fill us with the same Holy Spirit that filled her at the Annunciation! The Holy Spirit will come to us to help us to become apostles of her love, apostles of the love of the Father, so that those who do not yet know Him will finally experience Him and His love.

This is a time of incredible grace. Our Lady is offering to form us into humble vessels like herself, so that we can carry the great gift of God's love to others. As we approach the Feast of the Annunciation, let's meditate on this message from Our Lady every day, and possibly read Luke 1: 26-38. This grace being offered to us could change the world!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
