Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children, I, your mother, am with you for the sake of your well-being, for the sake of your needs and for the sake of your personal cognition.  The Heavenly Father gave you the freedom to decide on your own and to become cognizant on your own. I desire to help you. I desire to be a mother to you, a teacher of the truth - so that in the simplicity of an open heart, you may become cognizant of the immeasurable purity and of the light which comes from it and shatters darkness, the light which brings hope. I, my children, understand your pain and suffering. Who could understand you better than a mother? And you, my children? Small is the number of those who understand and follow me. Great is the number of those who are lost - of those who have not yet become cognizant of the truth in my Son. Therefore, my apostles, pray and act. Bring the light and do not lose hope. I am with you. In a special way I am with your shepherds. With a motherly heart I love and protect them, because they lead you to Heaven that was promised to you by my Son. Thank you." (May 2, 2014)

As I re-read this message, I realized that Mirjana Soldo's address to the Totally Yours Conference in March is a good illustration of what Our Lady is talking about. Mirjana shares the wisdom Our Lady has given her, wisdom that comes from a Mother who is with us. Here is the first half of her short talk given over the live internet telecast arranged by Mary TV on March 29, 2014. Mirjana was in her home in Medjugorje, and she spoke by live connection to the Totally Yours Conference. They could see and hear her, and she could see and hear them!

Mirjana Soldo speaks to the Totally Yours Conference on March 29, 2014:

I want to say hello to everybody. This is the first time I have spoken to a conference in this way, but I will try to do my best. I want to talk about love, about Blessed Mary, about how much she loves us, about how much God loves us. Because all these years He is sending to us His Mother to help us to find the way to follow Jesus.

I want to say quickly the most important messages, the messages I always repeat to the pilgrims here in Medjugorje. I think that the first and most important message, which Blessed Mary always repeats, is the Holy Mass. But Holy Mass not only on Sunday! When we were children at the beginning of the apparitions, one time she said to us, "My dear children, if you need to choose between seeing me, having an apparition, or going to Holy Mass, you must always choose Holy Mass. Because during Holy Mass my Son is with you."

She is asking from us family prayer. She said that parents have a big responsibility before their children, because parents must plant the roots of the faith in the heart of the children. But they can do this only if they are praying together and going to Holy Mass together. Because children will do only what they see in the home. We cannot talk to our children about Holy Mass if they don't see that Holy Mass is in the first place for us. We cannot talk about prayer to our children if they don't see us praying. Because of this Blessed Mary said that we parents have a big responsibility.

She is asking of us fasting. She asks for Wednesday and Friday. She doesn't ask for fasting from people who are really sick. But she said that those people, through prayer, will understand what else they can do instead of fasting on bread and water.

She asks for confession. She said that there doesn't exist in the world one man who doesn't need monthly confession. She asks for the Bible in our home. She said that we will find answers in the Bible. I heard that before we started to talk you were reading the message from the 18th of March. I must tell you something about this message. It was the first time that during the message, when Blessed Mary was saying something about the darkness that I saw something like fog and like winter, but as she continued to talk everything became normal. I think that through this she wanted to say that if we don't choose God, if we don't choose Jesus, we will not finish good. But with God, always the sun is in front of us. God will always show us the way we must go.

You know that I have apparitions every 18th of March, and Blessed Mary told me that I will have this apparition all my life. Some people think that I have this apparition on the 18th of March because it is my birthday. But that is not true. I must tell you that on this 18th of March Blessed Mary didn't say to me "Happy Birthday". Because my birthday is like all of your birthdays, because she chose 18th of March like every 2nd of the month because these dates mean something. And when the things that must happen start to happen, then you will understand why these days, why 18th of March, why every 2nd day of the month. I had daily apparitions up until Christmas of 1982. And Blessed Mary said to me on Christmas, 1982, that I would not have any more daily apparitions. She said that there would be one every year, on the 18th of March and that I would later have some extraordinary apparitions. And these apparitions started on August 2, 1987. And I still have these apparitions. I do not know how long.

These apparitions on the 2nd of the month are for unbelievers. Our Mother, Blessed Mary, never says "unbelievers" because when you say to somebody "You are an unbeliever" you give your judgment. You judge these people, but she never judges. She always says, "Those who didn't feel the love of God yet." And she asks our help. When she says "our" she doesn't mean only the six visionaries. She means everybody who feels her like a mother; because Blessed Mary said we can change "unbelievers". But only with our prayer and our example. She wants that in our daily prayer, we put in the first place, prayer for them. Blessed Mary says that most of the bad things that happen in the world like wars, divorce, drugs, abortion...all these things come from "unbelievers" - those who do not know the love of God. And she said, "My dear children, when you pray for them, you are praying for yourself and your future". She asks for our example. She doesn't want us to preach to other people but that we talk with our life. That "unbelievers" can see God and the love of God in us.

I ask you with all my heart to take this very seriously. Because if you have the opportunity only once to see the tears in Blessed Mary's eyes I am sure you would pray with all your heart. She said that this time we are living in now is a time of decision. And she said that we who say we are God's children, we have a big responsibility.

When she asks for prayer for [those who do not know the love of her Son] she wants us to pray her way. I understand that she means that first, we feel love for them. That we feel unbelievers [those who do not know the love of her Son] as our brothers and sisters who are not lucky like us to understand the love of God. And when we feel like this then we can pray for them.

Never judge, never criticize. Simply love them, pray for them and give them our example. Because every one of us has an unbeliever in our home, or a neighbor, or where we work, and [those who do not know the love of her Son] are looking at us so we need to ask ourselves, did they see God in us or not see God? For this we are responsible to God.

I also want to tell you an important thing that Blessed Mary is repeating in every message that she is giving every 2nd of the Month. This is prayer for our priests. She always says that they do not need our judgment or criticism. The need your love and your prayer. She said, "My dear children, if you lose respect for the priest, you lose respect for the Church and for God.
