Marthe relived the Passion of Christ every week and offered her sufferings for the redemption of the world, especially for priests. She advised them to pray to the Virgin and to maintain a good relationship with her. When a priest, Father C., asked her: "Pray for me to become a priest according to the Heart of Jesus", she immediately added, with enthusiasm, ‘…and of the Virgin Mary.’” This priest had gone through a time of great struggle in his vocation, and she had helped him through it. Recalling that time, she told him: "What would have become of you? The Virgin is loyal." Marthe also insisted that educators talk to children about Mary: “Help them to get to know the Blessed Virgin, to love her and spread her love to others. When you know Our Lady, you feel the need to cleanse your heart.
