(c) Mary TV 2014          J.M.J July 16, 2014 Our Lady of Mount Carmel Dear Family of Mary! "Dear children! At this time, I call you all to pray for my intentions. Especially, little children, pray for those who have not yet come to know the love of God and do not seek God the Savior. You, little children, be my extended hands and by your example draw them closer to my Heart and the Heart of my Son. God will reward you with graces and every blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call." ( November 25, 2004) On this beautiful feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we remember the great devotion to Our Lady found in the Carmelite orders throughout the world, and their special gift of contemplation and prayer. In so many ways they typify the way of prayer that Our Lady has laid out for us in her messages in Medjugorje. They are our older brothers and sisters on that way. I found a wonderful litany to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that we can pray today. It reflects so many of Our Lady's desires as expressed in her messages in Medjugorje (especially for those who do not know the love of her Son). What an honor it is to pray this Litany with the Carmelites throughout the world. LITANY OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Christ, hear us. Pray for us Sinners.   Let Us Pray: Our Lady of Mount Carmel, glorious Queen of Angels, channel of God's tenderest mercy to man, refuge and advocate of sinners, with confidence I prostrate myself before thee, beseeching thee to obtain for me [Mention request silently]. In return I solemnly promise to have recourse to thee in all my trials, sufferings and temptations, and I shall do all in my power to induce others to love and reverence thee and to invoke thee in all their needs. I thank thee for the numberless blessings which I have received from thy mercy and powerful intercession.
