Dear Family of Mary!
August 25, 1991 "Dear
Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when
my plan has begun to be realized. Satan is strong and wants to sweep
away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not
strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to
pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for
nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize
through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you,
dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the
seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them
to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully
realized. Thank you for having responded to my call."
On
this day, 97 years ago Our Lady appeared to the three visionaries of
Fatima for the 6th time. This apparition was attended by thousands of
people. And when Our Lady came, there was a great sign in the sky. The
sun began to "dance" in the sky, and plunge towards the earth. It was
terrifying. But when the sun went back to its normal position, the
people who had been drenched by rain, found themselves completely dry.
It was a sign that testified to the truth of the apparitions at Fatima
and a call to respond to her message of prayer, penance and faith.
In
our day we have another great Marian event in Medjugorje. Our Lady has
been coming on a daily basis for 33 years to 6 visionaries and has given
many messages. And yes, the sun has been dancing and giving many signs
to pilgrims individually to help them convert. And as you can see from
this message, Our Lady is continuing her work begun in Fatima through
Medjugorje.
In
a wonderful little book by Kresimir Sego, "A Conversation with the
Visionaries" (available in the Medjugorje Parish Book Store), Visionary
Mirjana Soldo talks about the connection of Fatima and Medjugorje, and
about the signs of the times. Here is an excerpt:
KS:
Comparing the apparitions in Medjugorje with the famous apparitions in
the rest of the world, we see similarities but there are also
differences: mainly, the number of visionaries, the many messages
received the enormous number of apparitions as well as the duration of
the apparitions. Do you understand why the apparitions are still taking
place?
MS:
In this way, the Gospa is preparing us for everything that is going to
take place through the love of God our Father. She said that She would
finish in Medjugorje what She has started in Fatima and that Her heart
would prevail. She is preparing us for this victory. When these events
will begin, people will understand why She chose the 18th of March
and why the apparitions take place every second day of the month. They
will understand the importance of these dates, why She has been
appearing for so long and why so many visionaries.
KS:
Do you see any signs of these events being put into motion, are they
happening now or are they awaiting us in the far futures?
MS:
I see small signs, they are already here; slowly, things are starting
to move. Women will understand me better with the following example:
When we want to do our spring cleaning, we first turn our homes upside
down. We move our sofas, cupboards, tables, chairs - nothing remains in
its place. To someone it may seem like a mess but, when we put
everything back into its place, everything is spick and span. Therefore,
if we wish to make some order, we first need to make a big mess. I can
see the signs of this.

Mirjana
tells us that the character of the apparitions in Medjugorje is really
by design. Our Lady is acting in communion with the Holy Spirit to carry
out a plan that was begun in Fatima in 1917, and is still being
enacted! Everything that she is doing in Medjugorje has its roots in
what she did in Fatima, and there are no accidents. All is in the grand
plan of God for our salvation in these times.
And
yes, we could say that our world really looks like a mess right now.
Maybe God is spring cleaning the world, and so He is dislodging dirty
nests all over the world, in order to clean out the evil and restore the
good. Through the Queen of Peace, a time of peace is coming, even as
was foretold in Fatima. But it is a big mess right now!!
"...I

Let
us pray that everything Our Lady began at Fatima, everything she has
continued to do at Medjugorje will be realized, fully realized!! Let us
pray, pray, pray!!!
