Mary teaches us reconciliation

If you want to be like Mary, be happy. Humility and joy are found in our faith that reminds us how much God loves us and how much he wants us to be happy and well-balanced. As a matter of fact, the Virgin Mary was very well-balanced.

Do not think that you either are or are not well-balanced! We have to acquire balance, human balance which is a source of joy. At first we must we must seek it out courageously, because we are all sort of off-kilter. This is called original sin!

Original sin, maintained by our own sinfulness, causes a profound imbalance within us which lets suspicion and fear seep into our relationship with God, with others and with ourselves. Mary was conceived without original sin, therefore without this imbalance!

And this gift of God is not only for herself or Jesus, but also for us. Mary wants to share this gift with us, and teach us to be reconciled with creation, with ourselves, with others and with God.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
Amen.
