Our Lady talks about consoling Her because of the many, many sins in the world! I remember the Angel of Fatima telling the three children: "What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have merciful designs on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.”
Later on, when Lucia was in a convent, Our lady appeared with the Child Jesus, who said to her: “Have pity on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is covered with the thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to remove them with an act of reparation.”
Then Our Lady said,“My daughter, look at My Heart encircled with the thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Do you at least try to console Me and announce in My name that I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary and keep Me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to My Immaculate Heart.”
So, there we have Heaven's plan for us to console Their Hearts! All we have to do is respond to Our lady's requests and She will grant us all the graces we need to get to Heaven. Why? Because Mother Mary says in the Blue Book: "I love you with a love greater than you could ever imagine!"
And we love you too, dearest Mother Mary!
